Concord Road
Youth Group
The goal of the Concord Road Youth
Group (CRYG) is to develop and strengthen young Christians through biblical
studies, service, and activities with fellow Christians. It is my hope and
prayer that these young men and women will continue to serve the Lord throughout
their life.

Spiritual
Growth
Each Sunday morning and Wednesday
night there are age appropriate Bible study classes. We have tried our best to
develop an educational program that will give each youth the spiritual tools
needed for Christian service.
The youth group also has a monthly
devotional hosted by Concord Road families. These provides a time of Christian
fellowship and Bible study.
The CRYG also hosts an annual
event called the Summer Youth Series (SYS). Nine other youth groups form the
local area join Concord Road on Thursday nights during the summer months for
worship and fellowship.
Camps and Retreats
In June of each year the CRYG
partners with the Southern Hills Youth Group at camp Hy-Lake for a week long
Bible camp. This is a time where friendships are made and spiritual lives are
strengthened.
The CRYG also has two annual
retreats. Our spring retreat is at the end of March each year. In October the
CRYG teams up with Southern Hills again for a fall retreat.
Conferences and Lectureships
On an annual basis the CRGY participates in the
following conferences or lectureships:
Service
On Tuesday mornings during the summer months
the CRYG puts their faith into action by engaging in various service projects.
Throughout the year the youth group also participates in other service oriented
projects.
Christian
Fellowship
In order to build strong Christian
relationships you have to surround yourself with fellow Christians. The last
Saturday of each month our youth have a Game Night. Past game nights have
included: Laser Tag, bowling roller/ice skating, putt-putt golf, and indoor rock
climbing.
